The drive from Denver is approximately two hours. From Denver, take I-70 west to Silverthorn, then take Highway 9 west to Kremmling. Once in Kremmling, Highway 9 dead-ends at Highway 40. Take a right/east on Highway 40. Drive approximately 2 miles, and turn left at County Road 22 (CR22) – a BLM office is located at the turn, at the corner of CR22 and Highway 40. Take CR22 for 8 miles, then left on CR 2 for 2 miles. Right on CR 24 for 1.75 miles to yellow gate on your right. Proceed through and please close the gate behind you. Continue driving this country road 1/2 mile until you reach a red gate. This gate is locked and your host will make arrangements to get you the key. Again, please be sure to close the gate and lock it behind you.
